Lawrence Yu
Lawrence Yu serves as Chairman of Agrinos India Pvt Ltd., (An American Vanguard Company), a plant pathologist by training and still actively involved in the Plant Science Industry in Asia Pacific after a 46-year career that spanned from research, development, regulatory, marketing, commercial to management in the crop protection industries. He has contributed to the business expansion and success of various companies in the crop protection industry, including Uniroyal, Roussel Uclaf, Hoechst, AgrEvo, Bayer CropScience and Sumitomo Chemical. He had also been active in the industry trade association CropLife Asia. He and his family have lived in Singapore, Japan and Hong Kong.
Selvasundaram Rajagopal
Selvasundaram Rajagopal (Selva) serves as Managing Director of Agrinos India Pvt Ltd., (An American Vanguard Company), having 42 years of Managerial and Research experience. His work on Biologicals and IPDM in tea and Indian Agriculture crops is well recognized. Earlier served as Principal Scientist & Head of Entomology at UPASI Tea Research Institute for nearly 22 years and then moved on to the Industry as Regional Technology Manager for Asia Pacific at Chemtura AgroSolutions (American company) and then to Agrinos India Private Limited (An American Vanguard Company). Selva holds Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Agricultural Entomology on biological control and MBA in Agriculture Business Management (ABM) from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU), Coimbatore, India having 12 patents and more than 100 research papers to his credit.
